Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger, born on July 30, 1947, is an Austrian-American actor, filmmaker, businessman, author, and former professional bodybuilder. He competed in the bodybuilding category in Mr. Olympia competitions and won the title seven times from 1970 to 1975 and then again in 1980. He was one of the most prominent figures in the Golden Age of Bodybuilding, which lasted from the 1960s to the 1980s. Schwarzenegger is considered to be one of the most significant figures in the history of bodybuilding and is famously known as "The Austrian Oak" and "The Terminator". Beyond bodybuilding, Schwarzenegger had a successful career as an actor and served as the Governor of California for two terms from 2003 to 2011.
